Welcome to the Sandringham Hotel. Family run since 1971, we are a well established family friendly hotel on the Isle of Wight welcoming guests with uninterrupted sea views of the glorious Sandown Bay.

Facing due South, the hotel is superbly located overlooking Culver Cliff, Sandown Bay and is literally a stone’s throw away from the beautiful sandy beaches which is ideal for families. With attractions such as Sandown pier, crazy golf, surf and sailing schools and the animal sanctuary just a short walk from our front door, there’s lots to keep you entertained. Situated to the rear of the hotel is the town with varied local gift and convenience shops, restaurants and cafes, chemists and newsagents; we are well served whatever your needs.

The Isle of Wight is perfect if you’re looking for a staycation for your summer holiday, short break or quick getaway with your family, friends, on business or a special occasion. We have a wide range of rooms to suit your budget, from double rooms to small or large family rooms, including superior balcony rooms to our budget rooms. All rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard with a flat screen TV, fast free unlimited Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities and an en-suite bathroom. Our newer-style rooms can also take advantage of a modern bathroom with a shower and an internal telephone.

We are well known for our indoor swimming pool! Yes, it’s heated and there is also a whirlpool for your leisure time, so remember to bring your swimming costume! Pool towels are available to hire from reception.

The lounge bar is always well-stocked with all your holiday favourites – a range of hot and cold drinks, wines, spirits and snacks are available. You can enjoy the sea views and watch the boats sail past whilst relaxing in the lounge, there’s a terrace if you wish to top up your tan, or a 50″ smart TV if you’d rather watch the sports!

The ‘Court Jester’ games lounge is a great new space for both adults and kids to enjoy with pool and football tables, TVs, games/fruit machines for the adults and a comfortable area to relax and watch the waves.

The dining room has panoramic sea views and offers tasty, traditional meals, a variety of wines and an attentive waiting service from our friendly team.

Car parking… Not an issue! We have on-site parking for roughly 30 cars and an off-site car park 200 yards away for 50 cars – both free of charge for guests. The on-site car park also has a 7kW EV charger accepting type 2 charging cables – available on a first come first served basis for an additional cost.

And finally… To take the load off you, to make it even easier and to save you money, we can organise your car, scooter or van ferry travel from Southampton to East Cowes, and return at a heavily reduced rate. Book direct online or over the phone and be sure to select the ferry add-on.
